My Life Pilot (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the My Life Pilot mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you consent to the practices described herein.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address
- Full name (optional)
- Password (stored securely via our authentication provider)
1.2 User-Generated Content
The App allows you to store and manage personal information, including:
- Documents: Titles, descriptions, categories, vendors, amounts, dates, and uploaded file images
- Notes & Thoughts: Text content you create
- Reminders: Titles, descriptions, due dates, and priority levels
- Chat Messages: Conversations with the AI assistant
- Inventory Items: Names, categories, brands, models, serial numbers, purchase information, warranty details, and associated images
- Family Members: Names, relationships, birthdates, and personal notes
1.3 Device & Technical Information
- Device type and operating system
- App version
- Push notification device tokens
- Usage analytics (see Section 4)
1.4 Camera & Photos
With your permission, the App accesses your device camera and photo library solely for the purpose of scanning and uploading documents. We do not continuously access or record from your camera.
1.5 Location Data
With your permission, the App may collect your location to set a home address for personalized recommendations (such as weather-based reminders). Location access is optional and can be revoked at any time through your device settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App’s features
- Process and store your documents, notes, reminders, inventory, and other content
- Power AI-assisted features including document analysis, chat assistance, smart suggestions, and content summaries
- Send push notifications for reminders, daily briefings, and document processing updates
- Process subscription purchases
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the App (via anonymized analytics)
- Provide customer support
3. Data Encryption & Security
We take the security of your data seriously:
- Encryption at rest: Sensitive fields (document descriptions, vendor names, file names, reminder descriptions, notes, thoughts, family member names, and profile information) are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption before being stored in our database.
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
- Key management: Encryption keys are securely managed and stored in the iOS Keychain on your device.
- Authentication: User sessions are secured with JWT tokens.
While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Analytics
We use Mixpanel, a third-party analytics service, to understand how users interact with the App. Mixpanel collects:
- Anonymized user identifiers
- App usage events (e.g., features used, screens visited)
- Device type and app version
Analytics data is used solely to improve the App experience. We do not use analytics data for advertising purposes. For more information, see Mixpanel’s Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services to operate:

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers.
6. AI Processing
The App uses artificial intelligence to provide features such as:
- Conversational AI assistant (chat)
- Document scanning and metadata extraction
- Document content analysis and summarization
- Smart reminders and suggestions
- Inventory analysis
- Family fact extraction
To provide these features, your content (including document text, images, chat messages, and related metadata) is sent to AI services for processing. AI-generated outputs (summaries, suggestions, extracted data) are stored in your account for your use. We do not use your personal content to train AI models.
7. Data Storage & Retention
- Cloud storage: Your content is stored on Supabase-hosted infrastructure (powered by AWS). Document files and images are stored in cloud object storage.
- Local storage: Encryption keys are stored in the iOS Keychain. App preferences are stored locally on your device.
- Retention: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual items at any time, or delete your entire account (see Section 9).
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@rjmediastudios.com and we will promptly delete such information.
9. Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access & Export: You can view all your data within the App at any time.
- Correction: You can edit or update your content and profile information at any time.
- Deletion: You can delete individual documents, notes, reminders, inventory items, and other content. You can also delete your entire account from the App’s settings, which permanently removes all your data from our servers, including:
- Profile and authentication data
- All documents, notes, reminders, and thoughts
- Chat history and sessions
- Inventory items and events
- Family member records
- Push notification tokens
- Push Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
- Camera & Location: You can revoke camera and location permissions at any time through your device settings.
10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect about you
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

11. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to access, rectify, port, and erase your data, as well as the right to restrict or object to processing. 12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy within the App or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
